We thank all parents for starting the new year embracing the changes to our uniform policy for 2012. These relate to school shoes now being only black polishable lace up shoes. Boots or dress shoes do not fit this description.

We remind parents that are allowing their daughters to see out the life of their t-bar shoes, that these need to be changed over at the beginning of Semester 2 this year.

May we also remind parents, as per the letter sent to all families at the beginning of this year, and the end of last year that the time frame for shoes is now reaching its end point.

Students from Years 8-11 wearing t-bar school shoes are asked to ensure that they have made this change at the beginning of Term 3.

Year 12 students are exempt from this change due to their time at school now being just over a term before they sit their final exams

As you would be aware from correspondence you received at the end of Term 2, we are now in full lace up school shoe phase with the transition period now over.

We will be contacting parents in relation to students who are still wearing t-bar shoes ascertaining where families are at in terms of this decision.

We thank those parents who have already made the change with their daughter’s foot wear already and appreciate your support of this change which is in line with the OHS requirements of the school.
